Here is the plan for the week in what I call our “Weekly Reminders”. You will receive one of these every week for the competitive season.
Normally, I will hand these out hard copy on Monday nights to the kids at the end of practice to bring home so please look for it moving forward each Monday. I tried to put a little more information in it for you to help with the next few weeks so you can map out all the weekends/events.

We have our first game this Friday at Lakeland and a very short amount of time to get ready. Please note the report time for this game is 5:30 pm.
Please note as well a few other new items this year:
- First competition is not an MCBA Competition (MCBA is our competition circuit we normally compete in for Michigan). This event is a Scholastic Competition (different circuit) and is at Gibraltar Carlson HS.
- September 24 is the Lake Orion show, and they are running a new format this year at a few MCBA shows where there will be an afternoon show and then an evening show. We will be competing in both. The afternoon is competition by your class (we are in Flight 1) and the evening is all groups competing together.
- Lakeland will be having a short homecoming parade this year for the first time in approximately 20 years. The event will all be contained to the campus between Lakewood Elementary and LHS, but this is a new event we will be a part of. It will be later than the MHS parade, and we will be immediately reporting for pre-game after the parade ends at LHS. More info as we get closer.
We are still waiting on approximately 1/3 of the band to vote for the Show Shirt. Parents, please have your students vote. The link is below.
