Booster Board Information

The Huron Valley Ensembles organization is a combination of the band programs within the Huron Valley School district’s high school programs, from both Lakeland High School and Milford High School. Each school has it’s own 501(3)(c) nonprofit booster board support individual programs at each school (such as jazz band) and the combined booster boards form the Huron Valley Ensembles Steering Committee that oversees, along with the high school band director(s) and associated staff, the combined Huron Valley Marching Band, as well as the winter programs – Huron Valley Percussion and Huron Valley Winter Guard.

Each board holds annual elections in May for the positions of President, Treasurer, and Secretary, each with differing responsibilities but collectively working together to support and guide the program. Board members are typically required to be parents/guardians of active members of one of the various Huron Valley Ensembles programs, either band class, marching band or the winter programs.
