- Mon 10/27: Practice 4–8 PM @ Oakland Yard — please arrive at 4 PM (no earlier).
- Wed 10/29: Practice 5:30–9 PM @ LHS 🎃 Trunk or Treat to follow
- Fri 10/31: 🎃 Finally a Friday off — Happy Halloween!
- Sat 11/1: Report 8:30 AM @ Oakland Yard
- Rehearse until 11:15 AM
- Lunch on your own afterward
- Report back to Lakeland at 1 PM in full uniform to prepare for State Finals at Ford Field! 🏟️

🚌 MCBA State Finals – Ford Field, Detroit
📍 2000 Brush St, Detroit, MI 48226
🎟️ Admission: $31 Adults / $28 Students & Seniors / 5 & under Free (cash, credit, or debit accepted)
Schedule Overview:
- 8:30 AM – Report @ Oakland Yard
- 11:15 AM – Finish & load equipment
- 11:30–1 PM – Lunch on your own / travel back to LHS
- 1 PM – Report to LHS & change into full uniform
- 2 PM – Load buses & depart
- 3 PM – Arrive @ Ford Field
- 3:30 PM – Unload @ Lot 6 (timed arrival — please move quickly)
- 3:58 PM – Warm-ups
- 5:28 PM – PERFORMANCE TIME! 🎺🔥
- After performance – Pack up, return to watch, enjoy concessions (card/phone pay only)
- 7 PM – Sit together in stands for final performances & awards
- 7:35 PM – Awards
- 8 PM – Depart for home
- ~9:30 PM – Arrive back @ LHS, unload, take uniforms home to wash for Indy!
💧 Reminders for Students:
- Have your full uniform ready and with you at the 1 PM report.
- Bring your own lunch and water.
- Ford Field is cashless — bring a card or mobile pay.
- Bring a change of clothes for after the show.
- Vets — please help newer members with uniforms and packing!

🥁 Optional PASIC Convention – Friday, Nov. 14
Interested in attending the Percussive Arts Society International Convention while in Indy?
- Runs 10 AM–4 PM on Friday
- Cost: $30, due by Monday, 11/3 at 9 PM
- Open to any band students who want to experience a day of percussion clinics, vendors, and performances!
